Greg, I meant to write you earlier. My wife and I thoroughly LOVED our time at Folly! It was our first time in SC, and WOW, we’re definitely coming back. The warmth and generousness of all the people we met was something we’ve never experienced. Both my wife and I are well seasoned international travelers – Asia, Europe, N & S. America. I can say that the people down there are some of the nicest & kindest in the world. A sense of family and community in the south – we LOVED it.
We loved your property and will definitely be back. I’ll be providing excellent feedback. Do let me know if you’re ever consider selling any of your beach properties at Folly. It would be a perfect home for a pair of snowbirds

Greg, TJ and I just wanted to thank you for the best vacation! We enjoyed our time at Folly Beach and did not want to leave this morning. The condo was perfect and what an amazing view. I’m attaching a picture of our little family. Thank you again for sharing you little piece of heaven with us. We hope to be in touch again, so that we can book for next year.

No deceiving pictures or offerings. Got it all. Very comfortable. Clean. Innnnnnncredible views. Local charm/atmosphere. Greg’s restaurant suggestions were right on. The fish at the Crosbi (?) store/market was probably very fresh but prices were discouraging. Looooooooved the Lost Dog breakfast and Bowen Island fish (wonderful margarita too). Went everywhere without a car (well you need a car to get to Bowen Island). Thanks Greg! Your professional relations are also to be commended!

We recently stayed at this condo and it was amazing. Greg was very helpful and accommodating and agreed to allowing us to have our dream wedding right outside the condo on the beach. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. The condo was very cozy and newly furnished. It was exactly what we were looking for in a place to spend our honeymoon. The view was breath taking and every evening we could set outside and look at the exact location we were married at. That was fantastic. There were alot of great places to eat and shop very close by, we loved Taco Boy and Ritas.. We loved it so much we actually called Greg to see if we could extend our stay but it was booked up, which we could see why. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend time right on the beach in a beautiful cozy condo. We hope to come back soon. Thanks for everything Greg!!!

Great house…kitchen had everything you need to eat in…house was comfortable, clean and well kept. My kids enjoyed hanging out in the sunroom…we enjoyed dinner each night on the screened in porch. All the beds were comfortable…had breakfast at The Lost Dog…lunch at Taco Boy…cooked fresh shrimp at night from Crosby’s…planning on returning this summer for a week long visit…

We had such a great time at this beach house. Wonderful location, clean, spacious, and affordable! There is a huge front deck with a grill, picnic table, and wonderful raised benches so you can see the water so clearly. It’s really a wonderful place and we hope to go back. Thanks!!

One drawback of vacationing with the family is that often times you need to sacrifice the conveniences of home to afford a prime location. Not so with this condo. It is right on the beach, nestled in the heart of a quaint yet lively little town. It accommodated the four of us comfortably and has as many or more conveniences than we do at home. For starters, I have stayed in hotels with bathrooms smaller than the shower in this condo. The appliances are obviously new and all state of the art and there’s even a laundry room. Large flat screens in the living and bedrooms with full cable. The internet was also fast and reliable. A short stroll brings you to a large variety of fine restaurants and fun shops. If eating in, be sure to try a pizza delivered from Woody’s. The view from the porch is picturesque and the open beach with private access was a comfortable place to take the younger kids and they certainly enjoyed collecting an abundance of nice shells, hermit crabs and even a couple starfish. For the more adventurous, there is no shortage of nightlife. While walking down the street at night (weekday), in addition to the many bars with a beach atmosphere, there was a choice of rock bands, a bluegrass band or jazz band, all within a stone’s throw of each other. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for the comforts of home with a beach outside your living room window and a vibrant beach community right out back.
Fun in Folly

I don’t normally write reviews, but this property definitely made an impression that is worthy of comments. Until we stayed at this property, it has been hit or miss for a property to actually match an owner’s description. Some come close but none, until this one, have been accurately described and exceeded expectations. This condo is beautifully (and seemed like recently) decorated, the location was absolutely perfect (parked our car and walked to everything, including a small grocery store), and right on the ocean. The view was so amazing that we spent most of our time just enjoying our vacation from the deck! The deck of the building is open all the way across but the building is built such that you can have privacy when you want it or the company of friendly neighbors if you desire. We brought along our dog and found Folly to be exceptionally pet friendly. Many of the restaurants have outdoor patios where you can dine with your pet and even passed out doggie treats and have water bowls on hand. We plan to make Folly an annual vacation destination and have found the perfect place to stay when we are in town. *Bonus – Folly is only about a 15 minute ride from Charleston – an absolutely fabulous city with endless options for entertainment, restaurants, and a great open market with all kinds of local goods.

We stayed here at the end of March and were pleasantly surprised how close all the shops/restaurants were. Even though the weather turned a bit cold and wet during our stay, we were still able to enjoy the town on foot. Great beach access! The condo was beautiful and very up-to-date…comfortable bed, huge shower and great view of the beach. It was nice having a laundry room, too! I highly recommend this condo to anyone and plan on coming back to Folly Beach and staying in this condo again! Very friendly place. P.S. Our favorite restaurants were: The Lost Dog Cafe (try the cinnamon bun!) and Taco Boy! Thanks for such a great place to stay, Greg!

We loved this well-decorated condo right on the beach. The view of the ocean is perfect. The short walking distance to all the restaurants and shops can’t be beat. We will definitely be back.
