Spend your days collecting sharks' teeth or catch a wave at the infamous ‘Washout’ just 2 blocks away. A quick golf cart ride will get you to the center of town where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy some local live music on the strip. 1120 E Ashley is sure to become a quick family favorite.1120 E Ashley allows up to 3 well behaved, house-broken, flea treated dogs with approval. Beach Bungalow 1 Block from Ocean!
Our stay was so perfect being a half a block from the ocean. The huge screened in porch with plenty of rockers and swing offered such a nice open air option. This was our 9th stay on Folly Beach. Thank for offering your place!

The place is nicer than it appeared in the pictures. A cute little beach house just a block from the beach that easily fit six of us. When we arrived at 5, one of the air conditioning units was out. Maintenance arrived within an hour and half with a new one.

Nice location so close to the beach. Older place (needs over hauled eventually, floors uneven like great grandma's old house, but still clean and functional for now). If you don't mind not having a dishwasher, or washer and dryer and understand it is an older home that doesn't have central a/c just window units, you will have a great time. Good water pressure, hot water worked well, and between all the ceiling fans and a/c units it was a comfortable place to stay. My 67 year old mother who spent over a month in the hospital less than a year ago had no problem with the short walk to the beach, it was so close. Kitchen had pretty much every utensil you could think of. It had a crockpot and blender, (not sure if they worked) so cooking was very convenient in the kitchen. Microwave, toaster, stovetop, oven, and fridge all worked very well. The host supplied dish soap, paper towels and a scrubbing sponge to wash dishes and the drying rack was under the sink. My 20 year old is at the Navy school and was able to visit for two days and he said the house was similar to the base house he is staying in right now. My other 2 teenagers enjoyed having their own rooms to go to after Mando family game nights at the good size kitchen table. The wifi worked well, so they were happy. A total drama free beach vacation and we enjoyed our stay.

The house was perfectly located 1 block from the beach. We had a fantastic stay! It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely consider renting it again!
