Cooper Cottage

A repeat renter of this property— and had another great stay. This cottage is quaint, but with everything our family of three needs when at Folly Beach. I love the screened in patio, and the easy walks to the beach and/or Bert’s (and slightly longer walks to Center Street).

We stay in Folly multiple times a year, Coopers Cottage was a cozy and very clean place. We were there during tropical storm Debbie and this place was a nice place to spend the day inside. The beach is a quick walk. It is a the perfect amount of space in a great location. We would 100% stay here….. multiple times of need be.

This was our second time staying at this cottage. We loved it so much last summer, that we jumped at the chance to stay here again when we had a few days this winter. Great place for a trip to Folly beach. Comfy, cute, and dog-friendly. =)

I've stayed at 5 different B&Bs on Folly and they were all good, but this is the one I will return to. So charming, comfy, cozy and clean. What especially pleased me and and the friend I rented it with were the thoughtful little touches--the towel hook right next to the (wonderful!) shower, the helpful hooks everywhere you'd want one, the goodie bag of bathroom and kitchen supplies, the labeled light switches so you don't have to try four to get the one that turns on the fan, and more, such as the windows that open and close so easily. All of it is so well thought out. Great service, always quick and courteous. The landscaping outside this sweet little cottage is mature and beautiful. Thanks so much! I'll be back if you'll have me!

This cottage was better in real life than the photos. There were more than enough household supplies, super cozy — exactly what you want when you think of a beach cottage. From the decor to the beautiful landscaping and ease of walking to the beach, we hope to make our stay here and our visit to Folly Beach an annual Labor Day trip.

This is a charming cottage. We loved the way it was decorated. Was a perfect place for my husband and I and our two dogs. We enjoyed being in a nice quiet neighborhood to relax that was a quick drive to local shops, restaurants, and the beach. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Cooper Cottage! The property is charming, clean and comfortable. Our college-age daughters spent part of the week with us and our dog was with us. We had a great time— very relaxing and the beach is beautiful! Easy access to Charleston too. Hope to return to Folly soon.

Cooper Cottage couldn't have been more perfect. It's so well situated between the beach and sound and within walking distance to everything. It was nice and quiet and we felt safe walking at night. What a gem!

Cooper Cottage is an awesome cottage a short distance to the beach and about a mile stroll to the downtown area. Once we parked we never had to get in our car again for the weekend. Our internet went out one day but Folly Best was very responsive and fixed the issue quickly. Highly recommend this cottage.

This was a clean and great place to stay close to the beach. The town was a little ways, if you were walking, but the beach was super close. We brought our dogs and we were very thankful of a nice dog park very close, because there were no potty signs in the yard. Great place to have a nice getaway

We had a perfect time staying at Cooper Cottage. It’s very charming, and has everything you need. So nice to find such a great place that is dog friendly too. Communication was easy and quick. The location is great and an easy walk to the beach and 15min walk to shops/restaurants. We had a great stay with two adults, two teenagers and a dog. The screened in porch for morning coffee was my favourite spot.

We are currently staying at Coopers cove and have really been enjoying our stay! It’s such a cozy little cottage! Plenty of space for our dog, my 9 year old son, my husband and I! It’s a typical Folly rental. Just a cute little beach house! Plenty of linens and all of the standard kitchen supplies and utensils. There is a small pathway to reach the laundry room (which is shared with 2 other houses I believe) but I’ve done two loads of laundry and haven’t run into the neighbors. In the laundry room there is also an ice machine. Very convenient! There isn’t an oven but the stove top works just fine and I even cooked a pizza for the kiddo in the microwave/ conventional oven. They provided plenty of toilet paper and they also provided a couple of pods for the dishwasher and laundry. I would totally recommend this place! It has all of the awesome beach vibes! I will be back without a doubt!

This place was wonderful! We were so sad to leave. It is so close to the beach and the location is great! The screened porch on the front was amazing. There is also an amazing outdoor shower. It is perfect!

I can not praise this place enough! Absolutely cute cottage in the best location. Only two short block to beach access, and 6 blocks to the main shopping/food area (close enough to walk but quite at night). We parked our car upon arrive and walked everywhere all weekend. The cottage itself was so cute and had a beautiful vintage feel with plenty of comfortable modern touches. My kids loved the bunk beds and the outdoor, private shower is so great after a day at the beach. Would stay again and would recommend to friends.

This place is great! Location is very walkable to the beach. The town is a little farther, but still walkable if you have the time and ability. The house and grounds are so peaceful and sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs was the best! I would definitely stay here again.

Described as a cute cottage a short walk from the beach, it was exactly that. We stayed for approximately 10 days and had fun walks with our dog every day including trips to the beach and nearby main street. Fully stocked kitchen allowed for us to prepare meals or walk to nearby restaurants. Clean and comfortable.

Folly did not disappoint. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4- 2 adults; 2 teenagers. Golf Cart is a must. Cottage was clean; and perfect for a short trip. Not conducive to cooking big meals; but breakfast, making sandwiches for the beach was perfect.

Close to the beach, small but very cute, one master bedroom and another with single bunk beds. We had never listed Folly Beach and we can't say we found the beach itself very nice, but if you want to stay at Folly this is an excellent option.

We truly enjoyed the coziness of the cottage. The interior and decor tight in its theme and well done. I would love to have seen the layout before it was done so we’ll. The location was perfect for trail access to the beach. We were disappointed that it stated we had access to a grill. But when we went to use it there was no propane much less propane. It was one of our criteria for choosing the place. Love to grill. The suggestion that it was like if you had a charcoal grill we would buy the charcoal. 20lb propane tank is not same, Enjoyed the cottage.

Location is terrific, a quick walk or golf cart ride from Center St with beach access just a short block or two away. The cottage is a real get-away, pet friendly and thoughtfully appointed. We were pleased with the ice machine access - so handy for refilling coolers! We will definitely be back!

We loved the location of Coopers Cottage - close enough to things but tucked away enough to have a nice relaxing retreat. The landscaping is gorgeous and made the space feel even more charming than it already was. Even though the space is small you didn’t feel cramped and it felt like every spot of the place was carefully thought out from the art to the linens. Such a cute place!

Nice screened in porch, 2 blocks from the beach- great amenities (adequate TP, linens, garbage bags, etc). Nice local Art work. Laundry facilities next door which worked out well. If it’s cold weather you might want to take an additional blanket as older cottages aren’t as well insulated. Beautiful beach and lots of dog friendly restaurants.

Pictures are accurate, it's a kitschy little cottage perfect for a getaway especially with a pet. It's close to the beach and a great dog park. Folly Beach is a great laid back beach town.

We loved our stay in Cooper Cottage. Great location, very clean and very well equipped. We went to the beach on Thanksgiving Day and all the extra beach equipment (chairs, wagons, cooler, ice) helped a lot! Fantastic beach and loved the dog friendly atmosphere.

Picket Fence is a marvelous southern belle with many wonderful stories to tell in her period construction and finish. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting neighbors and the cozy feeling of the cottage and walking to the beach daily.

We stayed at Picket Fence for a week over the July 4 holiday and had a great time. The house was perfect. Two bedrooms with bunk beds for the kids in one room, a short walk to the beach, and close to Center St, but not too close. Highly recommend.

This cottage was perfect for our family. One queen bed and a bunk bed in another room. Kitchen was perfect size and the property was perfect for what we were looking for. Also, super easy walk to the beach. Finally, the property management company was amazing to work with. The a/c died, but they came out to get me window units within an hour and had the contractor come out to replace the compressor the next day.

This is the cutest little vintage cottage located within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It has a great front porch area and a well-equipped kitchen. We had a great time relaxing and visiting nearby Folly Beach, Charleston, and The Citadel. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here with my husband and my little dog for 10 days while we were visiting our son who lives in Charleston. We loved this little beach cottage it had great access to the beach and we rented a golf cart for the 6 Block ride up to downtown Folly Beach. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for us. We particularly loved the outdoor shower and having access to a washer and dryer. This house was very reminiscent of the houses in Key West. We will definitely be staying here again. One of the best Home Away/AirBNB’s we stayed in as we enjoy quiet and quaint.
