Great location- we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage was clean and pleasant. The bunk beds were a huge hit with the cousins.

This was our second stay at Katie's Cottage. The location is great -- the beach was never crowded. The house itself was comfortable for our family of 5. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the back deck each evening when it cooled off. This is a great stay for a great price.

My favorite end of Folly. Quiet beach, sunset over the marsh, walk to historic lighthouse. Short drive to awesome local restaurants. House was perfect size and layout for breezy comfort.

We enjoyed our stay at Katie's Cottage very much. The location for a family with small children was perfect: free from the noise of Folly's main strip, and less crowds on the beach, even for Memorial Day weekend. The yard was good for our dog, too. The house is cozy and great atmosphere/tastefully decorated. It was clean and belongings are mostly well kept and everything we needed for our stay. As with most rentals there were minor issues, like a sticky non-stick pan. For our first visit to Folly Beach, we couldn't have had it better. We will definitely be back.

What a great place to stay at. It was extremely easy to gain access and the house had everything we needed. To be honest we didn’t even spend that much time there because the beach is literally right there. Fantastic location. Thanks for a great stay and look forward to staying again in the future

We really enjoyed our getaway to Folly beach. I have been to Charleston many times but have never stayed on Folly beach. We had a wonderful time and Katie’s cottage was perfect for our family. Very comfortable and we didn’t want to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay! Close to the trail for the lighthouse and very quick access to the beach. The house was very cozy and perfect for my wife and I and our dog. The house is out of the way and remains private. The weekend was busy with people visiting the lighthouse, so the street can see a lot of traffic. We visited in the off season, so it was relatively slow and didn't bother us much. Also, this end of Folly seemed to be a popular spot for the surfers.

Loved our stay at the cottage… it was perfect for our family of 6 and for our pets. Great location and views, easy and close access to the beach. Inside was very nice and laid out great. Highly recommend

Katie's cottage is a wonderful stay to experience Folly beach. The house is at the end of the island close to the walking trail that features some interesting artwork and leads right to the Morris Island lighthouse. Beach access is stone's throw from the driveway. The off street parking was also a nice perk. The inside of the house is compact but comfortable. There is plenty of space for a family with kids or a couple looking for a quiet getaway. The property is about 10 min to the best of Folly beach shops and restaurants. 10/10 would recommend Center Street Coffee for cold brew or a latte and their fresh baked croissants. The Tattooed Senorita is a few miles up Folly Rd. and has great quesadillas and margaritas. Charleston is an easy 30 min drive from the cottage as well. We spent a lot of our time exploring King St. and the Market. This is a wonderful place to stay would absolutely book again.
