Great house in a quiet area of Folly. Great upstairs and downstairs porches. Really close to the beach and walkable to the downtown area. Great spot!

This is a wonderful house for a family! It is super close to the beach and an easy walk even for little legs. The house has great space for adults, and kids and the kitchen is well stocked. The grill was tiny, so keep that in mind if you plan to grill for a crowd. Overall, we would love to stay here again!

The house is an easy walk straight to the beach access, the upstairs bedrooms are very comfortable, the kitchen and dining area are great, the porch is awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. We were essentially beach bums all week so the short walk to Folly Beach made the vacation fun and simple. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes, and we made heavy use of it. The home accommodated all 8 of us easily. We would certainly return again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful!! Exactly as described, so much room, so close to the beach and the Main Street we could walk everywhere! The kitchen was fully stocked— even had a mini crockpot! Welcoming hosts who stopped by the first full day to offer any help. The closet space is out of this world and plenty of parking. I can’t say enough lovely things about this property!! If you go, DO NOT miss the after-beach shower in the back yard— absolutely amazing and the warmest water!! We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back.

We had a couples weekend in Folly Beach with 3 other couples. The house was very clean and perfect for what we were needing, only a couple of blocks from all of the dining as well as the beach. We will check here first the next time we are looking for a Folly trip again!

Beautiful home and worked great for our two families. Kitchen very spacious and had all top of the line appliances and equipment including crock pot!! Would stay there again on next visit to Folly.

we had a fantastic time at Folly's Best! we parked our car and walked everywhere all weekend long. Check in and out we're easy, the place was beautiful, clean and well stocked, and I loved the free travel mug that was dropped off! I would absolutely stay here again.

From the questions so patiently answered by William before we ever arrived (you are wonderful!), to the gift bag full of useful items, and a personal visit from a kind lady from the FB office, we simply can't say enough! You went the extra mile to assure that our stay was a memorable one. In the future, we will use your office/staff to reserve our future rentals. Yes, you are that good at your jobs! You represent the lovely island and all it has to offer so well.

The house and location suited our family perfectly. It was far enough away from the Main Street to keep things quiet at bedtime and a 3 minute walk to the beach. We plan to stay at this property again upon our return to Folly Beach! *We cooked two meals a day and found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed in the way of dishes, pots and pans, and other small appliances.

The home was ideally located to both the beach and the shopping district. Loved that all the appliances were updated and that there was a full master with bathroom on the ground floor. Outdoor shower was great too.

This property is better than the description. It’s a very short walk to the beach and the town of Folly Beach is lovely. Lots of restaurant options, a great coffee shop and a little grocery store open 24/7. The house is big and clean and the owners are thoughtful anticipating your needs and making your stay so pleasant

First trip to Folly Beach and this house did not disappoint at all. It is 2 very very short blocks to the beach, around the corner from Burt's 24 hour market and a few blocks to the main drag in town. The location is just the beginning of what makes this place great. The house is spectacular with respect to its condition and what's included. The kitchen has everything you need, the porches and rockers are fantastic, beds were super comfortable, and the house is very well-appointed. Linens are included and as an added bonus, the rental company provides a nice start up package (laundry pods, paper towels, garbage bags, etc.) that was all that we needed. Really the house is move in ready and was absolutely perfect for 2 families with 2 kids each to share. Also, we were in the area to split time between the shore and Charleston and it was very easy to get into and out of the city from the area. Two thumbs up on this great property. What a great place to ring in the new year.

This was the fourth time we rented on FB and by far the best. It was the cleanest house we have rented anywhere ever, in addition to being well stocked, comfy beds, soft towels and plenty of room. We had minor plumbing issues that were promptly addressed without issue. Check in/out was a breeze. Will definitely be back!

We loved the house. Plenty of space and close to everything. We walked to Berts and Chico Feo every single day. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint would be that there were no beach chairs available to guests. It clearly states this when I went back and reviewed the property details so it's 100% my fault. I would just love to have access to something like that at a rental like this. Regardless, this was a fantastic place to rent. Highly recommend.

2 blocks from the beach, 3 blocks from food and music, and 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. Parking in the front circle drive and room for 3 more cars on the side maybe 4. Master bedrooms are huge. This place has alot of extra space. Also a full bath on main floor that is usually a half bath in most houses

The place was great and only two blocks from the beach and a few blocks to town. No need to drive anywhere. Even though it rained, we were able to sit outside on the covered porch. The whole trip was really a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at McGee's Folly! Six adults and one toddler were very comfortable here...a VERY short walk to the beach and Center Street as well as amazing rocking chair porches. You would definitely enjoy time spent here!

We had a great time at McGee on Folly. The house was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Walking to the beach was just an easy two blocks away. Plenty of parking. We would consider staying here again.

We stayed for 5 nights, the place was perfect! Parking was easy, everything was updated and clean. The neighborhood was so quaint and easy access to beach, and shops on the main street. Folly's Rental took very good care of us. My only issue was we were there 10 minutes before check in and we had to wait for timer on lock to let us in. After a 12 hour drive, and waiting an hour to get in house, I don't think 10-15 minutes should be an issue. There is a 35.00 fee for early check. Other then that, Folly's rental took very good care of us! Thank you.

We totally enjoyed our stay at McGee's Folly! What would make it even better would be if some beach chairs and towels were provided. We really missed having a grill that the owner might want to consider.
Other than that we had a wonderful time and plan to rent it again!

We truly enjoyed our time at McGee's Folly. It was a good balance because we could play games at the large dining room table but the spaciousness of the home and the porches allowed us to spread out as well. 

The walk to the beach is 2-3 minutes and Center street/town is only a 8-10 minute walk.

The apartment is nicer in person than in the pictures. We would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at McGee's Folly for College of Charleston graduation - 5 adults, 1 teenager. Found the house to be just the right size for the 6 of us. The house is a very clean, well maintained, and comfortable beach house. Up to date appliances and well equipped kitchen. Less than 5 minute easy walk to wide sandy beach. Three blocks, approximately 15 minute walk, to main street of Folly beach with shops, restaurants, and pier. Easy drive into and from Charleston.

Had such a good stay at McGee's Folly! House was 2 minutes from the beach, and about 25 minutes from downtown Charleston. Stayed with 8 girls for the weekend, and all of us had such a good time! House was amazing! It was super clean, spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I really can't write enough good things about McGee's Folly! The location is great, and the property itself is exceptional. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and very spacious. There is only one caution I would provide for future guests, if you like using a lot of towels and don't want to be bothered with laundry bring some towels of your own to supplement the (really nice) towels that are provided.
