We had a perfect girls trip and the house was gorgeous!! Beautiful beach, awesome deck and screen porch and the entire house was spotless!! We hope to be back very soon and hated to leave!

This is our first time booking the property. I have five children ages 19,18,14,10 and 7. We also had my parents meet us for vacation. We brought along our two dogs that are more like family. I can not begin to tell anyone looking at this property how amazing it is for any and everyone. I have absolutely NO complaints. Every single detail was ahhhhhmazing!! This property is a gem!! Don’t sleep on it, it is worth every penny!

Our family had a great time during our vacation to Folly Island. The home was ideal for both adults and children, and with the golf cart rental we purchased this was an amazing week. We definitely recommend Folly's Best.

We spent five days together in this wonderful beachfront home and had an amazing stay. The trip was for my mothers 94th Birthday. The group included her children and grandchildren. The layout worked well for our group and the outside porches were wonderful. The weather was perfect, sunny and in the high 70’s everyday and we felt like we had a private beach.

This house was great choice for a gathering of our extended family. It was a beautiful site on the front beach and had wonderful outdoor areas with porches and decks. But the coffee maker is not working properly and needs some attention or replacement. Thanks so much!

We had a great time here. House was an older home but in great shape. There was a lot of characteristic to this house. We’d definitely stay again! Everyone enjoyed, even the pups.

Although the bungalow itself is on the older side, owners have done an excellent job of maintaining the property. The upper and lower decks were amazing and being able to hear the ocean at night with the windows open (with heat or AC off) was amazing. This is a spectacular rental and well worth it. Make sure you take note of the wall upstairs with the beautiful German barometers!! As a caveat- The screens to the doors to the front porch and the screened porch need some attention (stripping and screen material are loose) so be careful. Also the guest commode (off the round table area) has a cover that needs to be replaced or reattached. Neither of these minor issues were of major concern while we were there and are only mentioned here as a heads up. We loved our stay here as did our pups and look forward to returning.

Wonderful stay in Folly Beach while in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run. Place was very clean and well kept. Plenty of space... even with 6 kids! Host was awesome and very responsive. My favorite part... you cannot beat the view from the back deck. Perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset over the beach with a coffee. Looking forward to returning back to this property soon!

We booked last minute so didn’t have much to choose from. The house had plenty of room for the 7 of us. It was comfortable. The beach access was GREAT!!! Nice deck and screened in porch (rusted hinge needs replacing) Linens were nice and there were supplies for the first couple days provided: dishwasher pods, dish wash liquid, sponge, kitchen towels, and paper towels, small hand soaps for bathrooms, toilet paper, wash machine pods, extra trash bags, etc. Very nice to have all these special things provided at least fir the first couple days. There were board games provided and you could watch Hulu, Netflix, etc., if you had an account. We watched the new Matrix film!!!!!! Televisions in all the rooms. The cleaning company should clean the oven, we only made pizza one evening but it really needs to be cleaned. I noted it on our forms when we left. There were also old coffee grounds left in the coffee machine…no big deal…we cleaned them out, but the cleaning company should have checked. We also couldn’t get the dishwasher to clean our dishes, we ran the program 3 times but ended up doing them by hand. I’m sure they would have responded but we didn’t want to bother anyone….it was Christmas. We did note it on the forms when we left. We had a good time and we would go back.

Very well situated on Folly beach. I liked the layout of the deck and the screen in portion. The house was roomy and clean. I liked the fact that soap and paper products were provided is an easy to find Fashion. October was a great time to visit as it was quiet and the beach was lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend this property to friends.

We really enjoyed our visit to Folly Beach. This home is spacious and perfect for a relaxing stay. It's not pretentious or fussy, and is perfectly comfortable and welcoming. We especially loved the location near the end of the beach and away from the crowds, SO NICE! would gladly stay again

North Bend by the Sea has it all - but most notably (and well used) is the big deck overlooking the ocean and the short boardwalk to the beach.

For our family with six adults and four children this place right on the beach was perfect. We have stayed in Oregon and Maine and while each was special, this beach was the best in terms of swimming and playing in the water; being able to walk right out to the beach is unbelievable. House was great, though since we are cooks, we bought and left a few cleaning supplies for the next guests. (And for cooks there are a few spices there.) Beds really comfortable, kitchen well equipped, staff at Folly's Best were great to work with--it was truly a perfect vacation.

The property was very spacious and accommodating. The location was private and provided quiet evenings. The stars and night from the balcony were amazing. As were the morning sunrises that we experienced. We had lots of fun playing the games and collecting seashells along the beach. We enjoyed good food at the Folly beach restaurants. We look forward to returning again.

We've rented a few different beach front houses on Folly Beach over the past several years for our annual late summer long weekend. We generally host about two to three couples - more fun with a small group! This was our first time renting this particular house - and it's a hit. It was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable for the six of us, plus one dog. Not over-decorated. The large deck is lovely - so close to the ocean - and with direct access to the beach. Definitely our favorite - and fully hope to book it again next year.

Beautiful, beach-front home on the "Edge of America." Close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough to avoid the crowds. Enough space for extended families to spread out while making memories!

My 5 girlfriends and I were attending a women’s conference in Charleston and decided we wanted to relax at the beach while we were there. We could not have chosen a better property for our stay! This house was like a cottage on the beach which we all found so comfortable and cozy. The entire house was very clean. We absolutely loved the walk out of the back of the house onto the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with all of our needs. It just felt like we were all home except we were in a cozy house on a beautiful beach. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Very nice visit in a spacious, well-maintained dog friendly beach house. Particular highlights were comfortable common kitchen and living room area, very nice bed linens, comfortable deck with lots of chairs for chatting, walk out access to the beach, quiet area of Folly beach, and our pups. Our Labrador in particular had a great time in the ocean and entertained us all. We were a multigenerational bunch that very much enjoyed our chance to relax and catch up with relations.

Perfect...Ocean/Beach front...tastefully decorated....ocean view from most all rooms....not at all crowded in any way...nice big outside deck just a few steps from the beach....screen porch on rear as well as a nice front porch.

This is a very quietly located beach house and a few steps to the beach from the deck. Its perfect location for family and friends to spend together. You do need transportation to stores and restaurants at Folly which are about 5 minutes down the road. The house itself is well maintained and has everything you need for a week at the beach. We did use a rental company for beach chairs and umbrellas. The house reminded me of a cross between beach and mountain cabin. Yes I would choose this house again for the space, quietness and easy beach access.

The house is a winner!! Step out the door to a an expansive beach that’s great for riding bikes, playing frisbee or just taking in the horizon. The house is clean, comfortable and has plenty of room for families or friends —enjoyed the screen porch and decks.

This is a great property on Folly Beach. It’s far enough away from town to be quiet and it’s right on the beach. We stayed the week with 5 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog. Plenty of room and well arranged.

We found Folly’s Best Rentals very easy to work with. They even called after we left to ask if a small trinket they found when cleaning up belonged to our party.

We will certainly come back.

Clemson friends gathered together to celebrate a local wedding. House was clean, comfortable, lots of space, pet-friendly, great access to the beach. We've stayed in a lot of places on Folly through the years and this ranks right in the top. Owner needs to replace TV and fix some locks, but otherwise a super, pleasant stay. Management company was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to emails and phone calls. Will definitely consider as a future rental.

This is a great house in a great location! The beach is wonderful. It would benefit from some cleaning out of closets and cabinets. The day we left, we were still finding things we might have used if we'd seen them earlier. We had a great time and would stay again.

This house was awesome, right on the beach, and very clean. Downtown Folly is about 3 miles away; and Charleston downtown is a good 30 minute Uber but it was worth it for this house. Staff at Follys Best was extremely helpful and accommodating. I'll be going back soon.

Six childhood friends from Michigan lived at North Bend for 5 days. This house was fabulous as the house was clean, comfortable and the view was amazing. We were able to get to Charleston easily and enjoyed the Folly Beach Community. PERFECT

Like Sherri C., I'm almost afraid to praise this house and its owners and management as much as they all deserve, for fear others will flock to this little corner of Folly Beach and crowd the rest of us out! We stayed with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter for about three days and just fell in love. The pictures honestly don't do the house justice -- it is a great combination of aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Everything you might need seems to be provided, and although the town of Folly Beach is great fun, it's nice to be outside the main action. We were very fortunate to have had perfect weather, too.

Even though we had a very busy weekend schedule we couldn't have chose a better place to stay. It had everything we needed and more. Got to spend a little time with the family on the beach and we even saw a family of live starfish. (beautiful)! And I must add, me owning a cleaning business try not to examine other peoples homes so I that I don't make them uncomfortable. This house couldn't have been more clean especially for a rental. I had to check it out! Hats off to the cleaners. Don't ever lose them!! :-) Follys Best Rental was also great to work with! Quick to respond and answer any and all questions even the silly ones!! We look forward to staying at Northbend again!! I could on and on but don't want all the spots to be taken before we book again!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!! We enjoyed it very much!! :-)

This house was comfortable: well-appointed, good public and private spaces, and a lovely fireplace. Everyone enjoyed the comfy beds and sofas. We all enjoyed walking the beach with good walks to both the boardwalk and to the lighthouse. The porches were inviting, and the kitchen was well equipped.
