Oceanfront Nest

The view of the ocean welcomed us to our downstairs rental returning to the low country life we'd lived years before. This spot was thought through providing all we needed. Very clean place, fresh smelling, super comfy beds, extra throws, blankets, tons of cookware/dishes (for kids too). Toys for beach digging, drying tree rack off the deck for towels/suits and a spot to wash sand off your two or four legged critters. There were people in the upper rental with dogs..who knew?! We chose this for the beachfront and a quiet weekend retreat..that's what we received!! We enjoyed this ground level (no stairs) rental that had all we needed, was close to downtown Folly Beach to experience (or re-experience) Folly at its best, we did !

Amazing location and great beach access! Beautiful, bright upstairs with large deck and furniture to accommodate large groups. Everyone loved it!!

This was my 7th visit to Folly Beach and my first time at this property. Our group was large (14) and we ALL had enough space. It was not cramped by any means and holy cow all the bathrooms!!!! My one complaint would be there are no drawers for storage. While every room had a closet we didn’t bring hangers, nor can you hang bikini’s. There was a vanity in the master bathroom with 2 drawers, but there were holes cut in the drawers to accommodate the plumbing. I couldn’t really use them for clothing. Also, don’t use the stairs without shoes. The metal slip guard on the stairs was brutal on our feet. But over all the house was amazing. Close to the beach. Loved the outdoor showers on both top and bottom. Plenty of room to hang out on the deck with everyone. The pictures don’t do this place justice!! It was better in person and I would highly recommend!!!

Stayed here mid-week in early October with a group of about 12 people, and we rented both the upper and lower units. Property is great -- it is beach front, located about 3 miles from the main Folly Beach downtown area. Good: -Clean -Grills at both upper and lower units -Outdoor shower -Upper unit master bedroom suite is awesome -- view of the ocean from the bed Could be better: -Unit does not come with nearly enough towels for a big group -Propane tank in the upper unit grill was nearly empty forcing us to swap it out with the propane tank from the lower unit -No clear instructions on how to get the outdoor shower to work -- if you rent this house, follow the hose to the lower unit outdoor hose faucet near the entry door to the lower unit and open that faucet to get the outdoor shower to work -No sponge, dish soap, or dishwasher soap included which was pretty annoying -Not the house's fault at all, but be warned that Uber/Lyft might not be available at night that far out on the island
