We loved our stay at the surf shack. You truly cannot beat the location and their cozy home was all we needed and more for our stay. Absolutely loved that they allowed dogs, beds were super comfy, and the fire pit was so nice to relax by after long days at the beach! We can’t wait to come back!

This place was exactly what we thought it would be. Cute little house that is close to the beach and bars/restaurants. Walking to Burt’s for items we forgot to pack and morning coffee was perfect. You can walk to the beach in 3 mins or be bar side in 5. The house was clean and had a nice outside area.

We had such a great stay at the Surf Shack. The house had ample room, was comfortable and had so many great places to relax inside and out. The location really can’t be beat! Extremely close to the beach, activities and some really fun restaurants. The trip into the city is quick and easy. Best part - we were able to bring our dog along. I highly recommend staying here!

The surf shack was a great place to stay for a short vacation. The dog loved it and it was quaint, clean and easy to get to the best that folly has to offer. We would absolutely visit again.

The proximity to the beach is wonderful and we had everything we needed for our two nights. Beds were comfortable and the management company was attentive. Parking was easy and the key-less entry worked well. We would go back.

Fantastic house with a fantastic location!!! Easy walk to the beach and the center of town. Once we parked we didn’t have to drive anywhere!!! Will definitely be staying there again!!!

This location was in a great location! A short, 1 block walk to the beach and a walkable distance to downtown Folly! The space was clean, matched the description, and had everything we needed for our weekend stay in Folly!

Great location - steps away from the beach, easy walk to Berts, easy walk to all the restaurants downtown Folly, and still feels quiet and secluded. The oak tree adds so much to the property, giving it that old island feel. House was well appointed and our family of 3 had no issues having only one bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful few days on Folly Beach! The Surf Shack is a lovely home, well-appointed, and was perfect for our stay. It’s conveniently located for walking to the beach, local restaurants and shopping! Folly Beach is a short trip from Charleston for sight-seeing and world class restaurants. The Host, Greg, was very attentive and responsive to my emails and questions before, and during, our stay. We can’t wait to return for another vacation.

We had the best long weekend at the beach cottage. It was comfortable, clean, well decorated and a very quick walk to the beach. Loved the screened in porch, deck and outdoor spaces. This place is really special and we cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Exactly as described. Very easy walk to beach and town. Breakfast on screened patio was awesome. Kitchen was well provisioned. Perfect size for a couple but would work for a second couple as well. Would definitely return.

Perfect place for a couple. Great location and short walk to the beach. Comfortable for two people or a small family. Nice screened in porch that leads to a nice outdoor deck. No one behind the house so fairly private.

Everything you need for a pleasurable stay on Folly Island. Short walk to the beach and all the local restaurants. Large shady yard with a deck and screen porch are great after a day on the beach

BEAUTIFUL SPOT! House was immaculate and had everything we needed. Super happy with the value, absolutely worth the money. Master bedroom actually way better than the photos, the photo must be old. Loved it, would absolutely stay here again.

This is a cute little place, close to the beach and stores in folly beach. Easy to get to from the airport and Charleston. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here with a friend mostly to sightsee in Charleston. It's about 25 minutes outside the city, but easy drive. The house was small but had everything we needed. The shower in the bathroom is tiny as others report, but it was fine for us. It is a short walk to public access at Folly Beach. Beach chairs were supplied. It was a very cute little place to stay in.

Was perfect accommodations for the 3 of us. Easy walk to the beach and close enough to walk up for restroom break and lunch/snack/drink refill. We loved being close to walk to dinner each night. We will be back!

Pictures don’t do the Surf Shack justice! My husband and I loved our long weekend here. It’s cozy, clean, and convenient to all that Folly has to offer. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, market. Comes with all the amenities you’d need, incl a recently installed washer/dryer. Loved the private, outdoor shower!

Great location! Close to town and just a block from the beach! Lovely backyard and fire pit (bring your own matches/lighter). Pots and pans are nice quality. No kitchen supplies such as coffee or oil (they did have salt and pepper which was appreciated). Overall comfortable and convenient for a family of four.

Nice, clean cottage within walking distance from beach. Much larger space than what pictures show. Three minute walk to town and 24 hour small grocery store. Very private, great backyard to relax in.

Great location! Super clean and cute house. Fit my family of 4 perfectly. Only downsize was no washer/dryer, which was fine since we were only there a couple of days but would definitely want if there for a week or more. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Only draw back for this property was the size of the shower. If you are a larger person you would want to skip this one. Washer & dryer would be nice for longer stays, but really no room for them in this rental. Great stay and we enjoyed the house.
